The Aqualife Institute is a young, innovative organisation founded in the year 2003. It is connected to various organisations, scientists and specialists from the areas of health promotion and interspecies communication between dolphin i.e. Cetacean and man, As well as from the areas of birth, education and communication.
Objectives:
1. Promotion of health by water training.
2. Research on the effects of water i.e. water training on the development of the human brain, mind and psyche, as well as social skills.
3. Interspecies-communication between cetacean and man.
4. Building a centre and network for primary education, interspecies communication and the promotion of health
Areas of Operation:
1. Water birth
The Aqualife Institute offers consultancy and support for water birth, at home, in hospitals or in the ocean, and offers specific training for the whole family, for a safe and easy birth, the time before and after.
2. Water training for pregnant women:
The Aqualife Institute offers consultancy as well as water training for women before con-ception, during and after birth.
3. Water training for babies
The Aqualife Institute offers water training for infants before birth and immediately after birth in the bathtub and/or the swimming pool. There is evidence to prove that this train-ing, as well as an increasing amount of time spent in water supports the physical and psychological development of the child. Furthermore it strengthens the whole organism, the sense of balance, the thermoregulation system and sensory integration.
4. Water training for the physically disadvantaged
The AquaLife Institute offers breathing and various exercises in water at regular intervals. Hereby some basic bodily functions are regulated (e.g. blood pressure), in addition to the already more optimally distribution of oxygen in the blood due to a change in the metabo-lism, the increased oxygen content of the blood cleanses and purifies the body on a cellu-lar level, dissolves poisons and toxins as well as traumas and tensions, which are then practically breathed out of the body. Also, the spine is being stretched, flexed and strengthened, whereby various blockages are dissolved.
5. Interspecies Communication
The AquaLife Institute works with free-living dolphins and whales at different places in the world. Particular emphasis within this work is being laid on the communication between Man and cetacean to learn from the latter, concerning social behaviour social structures, their speech capabilities, intelligence and nature of consciousness.
6. The AquaLife Institute offers specialists ongoing education in the fields of "Water before, during and after Birth" as well as "Sensory Integration". There is also a possibility of becoming an AquaLife Water trainer.
